"Position Description: A Product Manager (PM) is a diverse and rewarding role. The PM will manage the product roadmap, go-to-market activities and create marketing deliverables for product launches, developing baseline positioning and messaging content for collateral, presentations and sales tools. The PM must be able to interface effectively and establish quick credibility and confidence with: R&D, Sales, Marketing and customers. The Product Manager will also serve as the liaison between the business unit and the regional teams. A product manager is responsible for defining the solutions and services that we develop and sell. Following an analysis of market trends, customer needs, and competing products, the product manager outlines the exact content of a package and communicates the details to R&D, professional services (implementation), support, pre-sales, sales, customers, and prospects. The position must be filled by an extremely talented and flexible individual with strong technical and presentation skills, adept business knowledge, organizational abilities, and the capability to bridge between customer business requirements and technical feature set and broader market trends. Responsibilities include: Gathering and analyzing market trends and customers' requirements in order to create product roadmaps and regional focused marketing plans and tools Maintaining relationship with key regional stakeholders (sales, marketing) to identify market needs Developing sales tools for direct sales people / partners Leading product roadmaps and closely working with R&D Performing sales training as required Generating marketing materials (white papers, presentations, etc.) Planning and participating in customer facing activities (business meetings, conferences, seminars, etc.) Presenting and demonstrating solutions as needed for internal (sales people, executives) and external (customers/industry leaders/press/analysts) parties Initiating, implementing and leading marketing programs and product launch campaigns Relevant education: Preferably Bachelor's degree in computer science, a technical field or business administration Required professional experience and knowledge: Preferably over 3 years of product management experience Experience in Content Management or eDiscovery – major advantage Experience in enterprise software Experience with large SaaS operations Customer facing roles Large audience presentations Pre-sales Software implementation UI design B2C software Important skills / characteristics Proven ability to cross-function, between technical and non-technical teams Excellent writing, verbal, and presentation skills (English) Must be self-motivated and able to work independently This position requires overseas traveling to customer and non-customer sites (25%-30% of the time) Languages English at a very high level Additional languages will be considered an advantage "
