Mobilicom is hiring Director of product management and presales
Primary Responsibilities•Leads the response for RFX, and prepares technical and commercial proposals for
customers
•Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on
maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the sales
manager/CEO
•Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements,
assesses customers' needs, and recommends solutions that optimizes value for both the
customer and the company.
•Coordinates closely with R&D, and FAE, to align solution design with customers' business requirements.
•Secures from customer technical staff commitments needed to ensure a deal's
"technical close."
•Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned market areas, partners or
end customers in sync with the sales managers.
•Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the
products including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs etc.
•Responsible for staying on competitive analyses and understanding differentiators
between the company and its competitors
•Defines the product road-map and leads cross company processes to ensure professional release of product to the market.
Preferred Background
•Technical background in wireless communication – a must
•3-5 years of pre-sales/product management experience in the outdoor wireless communication industry (core network experience is not considered as relevant in this case)
•Prior HLS & Public Safety / Energy and Utilities / Vertical market experience – an advantage
•Strong technical background a must. BSc in electrical engineering or computer science – big advantage
•Strong presentation skills
•Good interpersonal skills
•Experience in response for RFX (RFI's, RFP's etc.)
•Experience in preparing techno-marketing documents
•Good written and verbal communications skills in English.
