The Worldwide Innovation Summer Intern will be a key member of the Worldwide Innovation team, supporting Pfizer's Innovation initiatives externally and internally. Pfizer's Innovation team is a dynamic, thought-provoking and collaborative group supporting the enterprise. The Summer Intern will focus on activities to assist in building a culture of Innovation across Pfizer and connecting to external innovations. Our Israel activities focus on scouting and managing collaborations with a wide array of startups ranging from molecules and R&D technologies to digital health and sensors, collaborating with the innovation ecosystem, hosting visits and contributing to events and conferences.
Location: WeWork Herzeliya Open space or potentially Pfizer Israel Shenkar St Herzeliya
Skills: Self-motivated, organized, fast learning and able to learn about very different companies and industries, cross-functional collaborative mindset.
Job Description (examples of activities):
Collaboration with external ecosystem:
• Help organize current database of startups
• Scan external existing startup database and suggest startups for review/meetings
• Help plan sr. leader visit
• Prepare periodic newsletter
• If implemented and up and running by the summer Support use and management of a technology platform that enables engagement of entrepreneurs
• Learn about the entrepreneurial ecosystem (Venture Capital firms, accelerators, academic institutions, etc)
WW Innovation Conference : Assist in planning and coordination for the Annual Worldwide Innovation Conference
• Be a core team member, providing freshness to the planning team
• Support communications with external speakers
• Support development of execution plans
• Project timeline and management support
Support Open Innovation team
• Support communications strategy
• Ensure database and website are up-to-date with most relevant information
• Support WW Innovation administrative assistant as necessary
